Channel Bypasses

It is possible to exempt channels from Bad Word Blocker's filter. Such channels are called "bypassing channels". No messages sent in these channels will be scanned or blocked by the bot.

How to Manage Bypassing Channels

Only people with Manage Messages or Administrator permission can manage bypassing channels

  1. Navigate to your Discord server

  2. In any channel, type in /bypasses

  3. Hit the Enter button (or the send button if you're on mobile)

  4. In the menu that pops up, hit the Search & Select Channels bar

  5. Select the channels you want to exempt from the bot's filter

    1. NOTE: If a channel is not being shown, search for it

  6. If you're on computer, click off the list. If you're on mobile hit the Select button.

Premium Users: Up to 25 bypassing channels

Free Users: Up to 3 bypassing channels
